Well good news, I got my cylinder heads back lol. Also I got the computer and wiring harness for the engine. Next is put the trans back together and stab them into the truck and figure out something for mounts!

Getting down and dirty with the wiring harness for the engine bay. Tracing and removing all wires for elec. transmission and useless crap like EGR and catalyst monitors.

Well I found out...it isn't the wiring that kills you. It's the directions to take out VERY IMPORTANT wires instead of the useless ones that will ultimately kill you...$40 and 4 hours down the drain.

And that's why I just pay for a painless harness.. price sucks but damn is it easy to wire a motor up

Yes lol. Well I got the truck to the new house, along with everything else. Trying to work on an old tin shed in the back yard to use as a dry place to build the transmission/s and put the motor back together. Shit would be done if I had a welder and a torch to stab and mount the trans and engine haha

Oh really? Awsome. I have to replace a good bit of floor on each side where the sunroof looked water and the seats channeled the water into a puddle lol. But other than that, the rest of the truck is pretty sound! The frame still has a little paint on it from the factory haha

Yeah it's pretty nice. We used some spray can shit on 'she who shall not be named' Datsun and it made a huge difference. Lay carpet down & you'll never see it.

Well, if there is any good news out of this, it's that the engine is confirmed to be a 4th gen block, which means its going to be a bitch to blow haha.

To the left is a 4th generation late model rod, right is a 3rd gen early model rod. It's easy to tell that the left one is alot beefier haha. Because Race Engine

The truck has been sitting ever since I got it. I got it ready for the engine and trans swap. It is a complete roller. Working brakes and steering. But it's hard to build a dream when you don't even have the money for milk and bread. This build has kept me away from trouble, while letting my inner love for power and engineering fuel my dreams. After that day I picked up the motor and put it on the engine stand, I had this amazing feeling. Just the thought of me in the truck, full throttle, frame twisting, and feeling totally out of the control yet being totally in control. The thought of what kind of pure evil would come out of the down pipe when I start it, sends chills through my head and throughout my body. Imagining what it will feel like when the turbo spools and the engine's rpms are at an unimaginable rate. I look back at all the posts about the truck, and how I've almost have kept it a secret to everybody in the small town I live in, makes me think that one day when it's all done, and every inch of the truck is untouched and the way I want it, I will take it for its first ride and see what everybody's face looks like when they see a shitty sun stained yellow truck with what they believe is a exhaust that has been cut, and shoved through the fender, rolling down the road. It makes me smile just thinking about how many people will be disappointed with their mod motors and purpose built drag cars, when I pull up beside them, and walk them. This is just a small dream among a lot of big dreams of mine. I feel that some day it will be done, but also I feel like it will just rust away before I get to it again.
